Beschrijving
Southeast of Lenchen, Doosberg slopes south to southwest from 150 to 95 m above sea level towards the Rhine. The vine age is from 25 to 45 years old. Deep carbonate loess-loam soil on quartzite rock. Dark spice, ripe yellow stone fruit with a hint of quince jelly, plus chamomile, nutty and subtly smoky hints. With its vibrant minerality, it seems deeply rooted in the earth. It is tense, energetic and agile. Serious, but thoroughly unstrained.
