89-91 The 2015 Pommard Les Tavannes has a rather opulent bouquet with vivid morello cherry mixed with crushed strawberry scents, more blue fruit emerging with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity, and clean and pure crushed strawberry and cherry fruit towards the caressing finish. This is well made and likely to be downright lovely from soon after bottling.
Jean-Nicolas Méo has overseen a négociant branch of Domaine Méo-Camuzet for several years now under "Méo-Camuzet Frère et Soeurs." They can be well worth seeking out.
